Presentation of the Joan Oró Year in commemoration of the centenary of the birth of the biochemist from Lleida
The Joan Oró Year program, which commemorates the centenary of the birth of the renowned Lleida-born biochemist, will focus on bringing closer the scientific legacy and personal values of this key figure in the study of the origin of life.

On May 17, the Joan Oró Foundation received a visit from TV3, to publicize the new headquarters of the Joan Oró Foundation in Lleida, which tells a large part of the legacy of the scientist from Lleida. This legacy contains all the documentation that Joan Oró took in 1999 from Hosuton (United States) to Lleida and you can find more than 3,000 scientific books, documents, diaries, letters, meteorites.
