Joan Oró is one of the most universal names in Catalan science, and one of the scientists most committed to the progress of science.
Presentation
In 1993 we created the Joan Oró Foundation in Lleida to maintain a link with the Catalan people. The Foundation is the means to keep alive and disseminate its scientific legacy that is open to everyone and to help in the importance of scientific dissemination and research, especially aimed at young people.
I encourage you to participate and collaborate in the projects of the Joan Oró Foundation, and to visit the different exhibition points by walking through his biography and his enormous scientific legacy.

The Joan Oró Foundation, founded in March 1993, is a non-profit institution created with the aim of promoting the work of the scientist Joan Oró and promoting scientific dissemination and research, especially among young people.

To promote, through education in schools and institutes, initiatives for the development of scientific knowledge and research to encourage the scientific vocation of young people.
To bring scientific dissemination and communication closer to people.
To promote science to promote the development of society through agreements with public and private institutions.
